About us

At Sparrows and Lilies Senior Care, we believe every senior deserves to live with dignity, joy, and peace in the place they love most, their own home. We are a family-owned, faith-inspired in-home care agency proudly serving Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and the surrounding communities. Our name comes from Matthew 6:26–28, a gentle reminder that if God so beautifully clothes the lilies and cares for the sparrows, how much more does He care for each of us in our later years.
 

Services

We provide compassionate, non-medical care that lets seniors remain independent while staying safe and connected. Our warm-hearted caregivers help with:

  • Companionship and conversation

  • Medication reminders

  • Light housekeeping and laundry

  • Nutritious meal preparation

  • Transportation to appointments, church, or the grocery store

  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)

  • Respite for family caregivers

Request services

We provide companionship, personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, after-hours care, and overnight stays.

 

Hourly rates: $34 – $50 per hour (depending on the service and time of day).

 

Booking fee: A one-time, non-refundable $20 reservation fee is required to secure your first appointment. This $20 will be credited toward your final invoice.

Description

Our rate is $36 per hour. A $20 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment and will be credited toward your first visit.

 

We take the worry out of getting to appointments, errands, or simply enjoying a change of scenery. Our caregivers don’t just drive — they stay with your loved one every step of the way, from the front door to the waiting room and safely home again.

What’s included in every ride:

  • Safe, comfortable transportation in our caregiver’s clean, insured vehicle
  • Assistance getting in/out of the car and the building (walker/wheelchair friendly)
  • Waiting with your loved one during the entire appointment (no rush, no stress)
  • Help communicating with doctors or staff if needed
  • Medication or belongings carried for them
  • A full report texted to family when they’re safely back home
  • Common trips we happily cover:
  • Doctor, dentist, therapy, or lab visits
  • Hair salon or barber
  • Pharmacy pick-ups
  • Grocery or light shopping
  • Church services
  • Visits to friends or family
  • Scenic drives when they just want to “get out”

 

$0.67/mile extra charge. No medical transport licenses needed — just gentle, patient, one-on-one care from someone they already know and trust.

Because getting there should feel as good as arriving. Charge is per hour.
